Most of El Sobrante’s retail stores can be found in the southwest section of town, near San Pablo, CA. Even though El Sobrante is tucked away from the heart of Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco, public transportation is still available for its residents. AC Transit Route provides service to the Richmond BART Station, and from there, commuting is a breeze. Another great feature of El Sobrante is the convenient access to Interstate 80. Simply hop onto the highway, and you can be in San Francisco in less than an hour.
